Club Quarters Midtown - Times Square

Rumford Hall maintains the original ambience established when the building opened as the Chemists' Club in 1903. This expansive lounge features leather couches, upholstered chairs, and marble-like columns. Complimentary coffee is served in the mornings, complimentary newspapers and magazines are available, and two desks with ergonomic chairs are furnished with computers providing complimentary wireless Internet access and printer connections. A bar runs along the back wall.

The second grand space comprises the hotel's dining room, which is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. (Limited menus on weekends.) A small fitness room contains four cardio machines. Grocery-shopping services are available.

Club Quarters Midtown - Times Square offers 167 guestrooms in a 13-story building with narrow corridors and small elevators. Rooms feature pillowtop mattresses, work desks with ergonomic chairs and reference books, upholstered reading chairs, CD player/radios with nature-sound CD, and 18-inch flat-screen televisions. Wireless Internet access is complimentary. All but Petit single rooms include microwave ovens.

At check-in, Club Quarters guests are issued a personal, direct-dial number for each room's two telephones (one cordless, one with dual lines and speaker).

Contemporary decor and furnishings include mahogany-stained furniture, black upholstered headboards, and colorful prints on walls. Small bathrooms contain stall showers (no tubs) and vanities constructed of satin-finish stainless steel and granite. A guest closet on each floor contains irons, ironing boards, bedding, and other room supplies.
